The Monochrome Dress.

As a lot of you guys already know from the catwalk shows, Monochrome - Black & White shades are one of the main trends this season. Here's my take on it: a basic cut, quarter sleeve dress with a bold B&W monochrome print. What I love about this ZARA dress is that it's an easy day to night garment. I paired it up with my all black Docs but if you just change it up a bit and put on some heels, you're good to go for a night out!

I couldn't resist, had to share my lovely classmate Elfi's outfit that featured a fabulous hat. She's one of those people who's outfit reflects her personality - humble and beautiful. Her hat is from a Chinese vintage shop and her backpack was made by her using some extra fabric that she had laying around.

Gold Sparkles on Boots!

So I got these beautifully detailed boots last year and never wore them, don't know why. I decided to finally put these babies on and now I'm in love with them again. They're a bit of a statement and add a lot to a simple outfit. Also, they're very comfortable.

Wore them with casual pieces, just added a bit more detail with a pretty embroidered shirt. It was a sunny day here in Cambridge and pictures were taken by my lovely classmate Elfi. Hope you enjoy! =}

Inspired by "The Godfather"

I enjoy styling basic band, movie, lounging shirts and creating a smart & casual look. Here's an example that features a "Godfather" shirt, skinnies and Alexander McQueen for Puma sneakers. The ZARA blazer makes it look put together and adds a spice of sharpness.

Judgement Day Leggings!

Since I'm living on my own now it was hard to get my outfit of the day pictures taken. But the other day I found a very obvious and easy solution to this problem - A TRIPOD! I ordered one and shot the pictures - it was easy, quick. So I'm happy to announce that my lookbook will continue on my blog.

I'm wearing these badass Blackmilk Clothing "Judgement Day" leggings that are very soft and comfortable to wear. I love how BC turned a very casual clothing item such as leggings and turned them into a statement piece by applying these crazy prints to them.

On top I'm wearing a casual burgundy sweater and to keep the casual look I wore my warm, distressed vintage looking shoes.

Valentino: Master of Couture 2012

A month ago I visited the exhibition that featured Valentino's best works, sketches, letters that he received from the famous people that admired his work. Also the special techniques that his couture house crew invented while making the amazing designer's ideas come alive. It was a breathtaking experience. What I especially enjoyed was the way it was set up - it was a red carpet catwalk event. The viewers were walking on the red carpet whilst on the both sides of this red carpet were chairs with the usual first row spectators' name on them as well as the exhibited garments. Standing couple meters away from one of the most iconic gowns by the fabulous Valentino and knowing the beautiful women who wore them on very special events was a magical feeling.
